3- Ingredient Protein Cookies

It’s Summertime which means the kids are free, no more homeschooling for moms and dads (thanks covid!) and there’s nothing to do, but to just sit back, relax and eat… 27 snacks a day!

I don’t know about you, but my kids are in the kitchen non-stop.  They don’t want a full meal, no, because that would  actually fill them up and halt Snack Fest 2020.

A lot of processed snacks are filled with preservatives, additives and sugar which explains why they just don’t get full. All of those things spark more food cravings and hunger.

My solution? Make a hearty, easy snack that will fill them up and will feel your heart up knowing they’re no longer going to wear out the hinge on the pantry and fridge door.

All you need is a few ingredients, but feel free to go crazy with some fun add ins.

Here’s what you’ll need for these healthy little treats!

3 – Ingredient Protein Cookies

2 ripe bananas

2 cups gluten free oats

1/2 cup almond butter

add ins:

1/2 cup Enjoy Life Dairy Free Chocolate Chips

1 Tablespoon maple syrup or coconut sugar (additional sweetness)

1/4 cup chopped walnuts

Dash of cinnamon

Instructions:

Mash up bananas in medium size mixing bowl. Stir in remaining ingredients.
Drop cookies onto a cookie sheet, flatten slightly, bake 350 degrees, 15-20 minutes.

And there you have it!

A protein, fiber, potassium-filled treat that will fill your little ones up with some natural goodness.

Happy Summer! 🌞

NOTES:

*if using smaller bananas do a little less that 2 cups of oats.
